The Moon is Full Tonight
With my candle and incense in hand, I make my way to a small patch of brick
in my yard, upon which I kneel and allow the light of the moon so bright to
envelop me...
I close my eys and open my mind to the warmth and oneness I feel...
As I slowly breath in and out, each breath becomes a step I take across a
bridge...
The wind blows as lightly as the scent of the incense, filling my mind..
With every step I take across the bridge, I drop a thought into the chasm
below...
Until it becomes a gentle river flowing and my mind becomes clear...
I am so at peace, that I do not feel the burning of the wax as it is falling
upon my hand..
The flame of which, flickers as lightly as each twinkling of the stars
above...
I ask for naught of the Moon, but instead give of myself completely...
And with that completeness, comes the serenity and strength I have had of
need...
The oneness has lasted for so long, my incense has burned to the end of it's
life...
And as I speak the last, I rise stifly from my thoughts, as a Gargoyle waking
in the night....
The Moon was full tonight....
