Bloodlust
Twilight recedes and the moon illuminates
the darkness that invades all who see..
bloodlust is upon all that live for
those who flee and those who seek..
I walk the streets among the throngs
who come for fun under the bright city lights,
so many to look upon and only one to seek.
there is a crowded pub filled with more
and there is a house filled with the noise
of still more whose laughter beckons me,
and the choice is so illusive, but I make
a choice that won't matter for whereever
I go..they will be there with their beer
and laughter and I will be there with a smile..
for the night is yet young and I am filled
with bloodlust as I walk up to a young female
and say "hello".........
